News from the departments:

The Literature Department:
  • We continue spreading literature through Venezuela. Let us pray that the leaflets and tracts will bless many lives and will be an instrument to save souls.
  • Let us also pray that the distribution of literature can become faster. We are praying for an additional truck driver for Venezuela to help us distribute bibles and leaflets with the Gospel of Salvation.
  • We are looking for funds to finance a container with Christian literature from Northern Ireland. Please pray with us.

The Human Aid Department:

  • Thanks to the economic help we received from various countries in the world, we have been able to help a lot of people, especially victims of the tragedy that took place in Venezuela in December 1999. Let us keep praying for the victims and their families.
  • At the moment we are trying to help the prisoners in their difficult situation in the prisons of Venezuela. This is a big challenge ! Most of the prisons don't have a water purification system, and that has a lot of consequences.  Most of this branch of the work is being coordinated by Nelson Amaro, who is very well aquainted with all that has to do with prison work.

The Medical Department:

  • At this moment we are trying to obtain a Field Hospital, in order to be able to help a lot of people in need.
  • On August 3rd, 2001, we celebrated the wedding of Douglas Pacheco and Swanny Engels. They are in charge of the medical department. We thank the Lord for their dedication to this ministry. We invite you to take a look at the wedding pictures.

The Department "Aid for Cuba":

  • In 2002 we were able to go twice to Cuba. We thank the Lord for the possiblity he gave us to go there and visit and encourage Christians on the island. We continue praying for our brothers and sisters there and for the financial means to go there again in 2003.
  • Over the last 12 years we have been able to help many people on this island as far as human aid is concerned. "Visión Latina" has been sending various containers and also an ambulance from the Netherlands. We have been able to send quantities of medicine to this country. Through the "Consejo de Iglesias" in Havana, we also have been able to introduce evangelical literature, which has been very well received by the evangelical community. Let us keep praying for this work.
